When Dave and I came to St John via Windjammer cruises on March 26,2002, as you said you would, you met us at the dock and immediately put us at ease. We had been somewhat stressed by the wedding plans made with someone we had never met. You had also called us back promptly more than once when we called you from the states in a panic over some question we forgot to ask.The trip to the courthouse in St Thomas to get our marriage license went exactly as you told us it would.For all of this we are so thankful to you.
We got married on Hawknest Beach and it was absolutely breathtaking and we thought the Island Beach ceremony was beautiful.We could not have asked for a lovelier spot in which to get married or a more beautiful service..

We came to the island by ourselves to get married but never would we have believed that we would leave feeling as if we had had a dear friend performing the ceremony. You truly have a calling for the services you perform and the gift of yourself you gave to us was more than we could ever have expected. Saying thank you hardly touches on our gratitude. You made our wedding wonderful.

Dear Anne-Marie,

We were married during a very tragic time in American History. We fought with our conscience the entire week of September 11 weather or not to get married the following Tuesday. We choose to stick with our original plan and do everything possible to get to St. Johns for our wedding day. Days later, flights later, lost luggage, and a friend, who flew in from Brussels, we made it. All 26 of us!
When I saw you standing there on the dock that morning of September 18, I knew everything was going to be wonderful. Immediately, Scott I felt at ease and comfortable. The service was so beautiful and personal. We felt like we have known you our entire lives.
Scoff and I could not have asked for a better day. The island was breath taking as we traveled to Hawks Nest Beach. We had no idea the most beautiful place on earth was only a few minuets from the ferry landing. Pictures will never do the island or wedding justice.
We can't thank you enough for making our wedding day perfect. It was a perfect
beginning to our new life together.
Keep 2006 open, we want to renew our vows!
